Telluride’s Weekly Pulse: Snow Forecasts, Events & Mountain Life (Feb 5–11)
Welcome to your Telluride Peak Sheet—your insider snapshot of what’s happening on and off the mountain this week, brought to you by Mountain Rose Realty. From groomer days and bluebird skies to après beats, live music, art walks, and theater, Telluride is delivering peak winter energy in all the right ways.
OpenSnow says the snow is coming next week, so we’ll just be cruising some beautiful groomers and enjoying the sunshine until Joel comes through for us! In the meantime, enjoy the terrain (87% of the mountain is open), and all of the amazing events off of the mountain!
It’s a big week for music, with Vandelux and DJ Castle performing at Heritage Plaza tomorrow for apres (more information below), plus The Gold Kings at the Sheridan Historic Bar and a Community Concert with Anneke Dean and Travis Fisher at the Telluride Science & Innovation Center on Thursday. On Friday, check out Bass Camp at Tomboy Tavern and a Tiny CIRC Desk Concert at the Wilkinson Public Library with Emily Scott Robinson. Over at The Alibi, catch Discognition on Thursday, Briscoe on Friday and Hot Buttered Rum on Tuesday. Plus, The View at Mountain Lodge will be hosting a Super Bowl apres party with Dirty Blonde on Sunday and TASP will be hosting their 30th birthday party on Tuesday with Hot Buttered Rum at Heritage Plaza.
Thursday is the local-favorite Art Walk, which is hosted by participating galleries throughout Telluride and Mountain Village. Several events coincide with the Art Walk this month, including a Pop-Up Local Artist Market at the Ah Haa School for the Arts, and a Girl Scout Cookie and Wine Pairing at MiXX. The art keeps rolling on Friday evening with an artist talk with Angela Okajima-Kempinas at Fringe Gallery.
Other notable events include What the Constitution Means to Me at the Ah Haa School for the Arts on Thursday and Friday (more dates added!), Guys and Dolls at the Sheridan Opera House on Friday, Saturday and Monday (no show Sunday due to the Super Bowl), Mind Blown on Friday and Saturday at The Peaks Resort & Spa and a free wine tasting on Wednesday at the Mountain Village Wine Merchant.

Why This Matters (Beyond the Fun)
Weeks like this capture why buyers fall in love with Telluride—and why owners rarely leave. The seamless blend of world-class skiing, cultural depth, live music, and authentic community is exactly what continues to drive long-term demand for telluride homes for sale and homes for sale telluride co.
At Mountain Rose Realty, this lifestyle lens is central to how Anne-Britt Ostlund guides buyers and sellers through the telluride real estate market—because understanding the rhythm of the town is just as important as understanding pricing, inventory, and timing.
Final Word
Whether you’re here for the season, visiting for the week, or quietly imagining your own basecamp in the San Juans, Telluride is putting on a show—on the mountain and beyond.
