The Telluride Americana Music Festival returns for its 16th summer, bringing two nights of world-class songwriting and storytelling to the historic Sheridan Opera House.
This year’s festival, happening July 18–19, 2025, features an incredible lineup of Texan singer-songwriters who embody the heart of Americana music. If you love intimate concerts where every lyric has a story, this is the event for you.

🎶 What Makes the Telluride Americana Music Festival Special?
Unlike larger Telluride music festivals, the TAMF keeps things intentionally small:
- Only 250 attendees per night
- Five carefully selected artists
- A “listening room” vibe where stories and songs take center stage
“The Sheridan Opera House is a jewel,” says founder Steve Stagner, who designed the festival to feel personal and connected. “It’s about great music in a room where every seat feels like the best one.”
The Americana genre—a blend of folk, blues, and country—thrives in this intimate setting, where artists share the stories behind their music, creating a one-of-a-kind experience for the audience.
🎤 2025 Artist Lineup
The festival continues its Texan roots with a lineup of powerhouse performers:
Friday, July 18
- Jack Ingram – CMT and ACM award-winning Texas country artist with 11 studio albums.
- Django Walker – Austin-based songwriter influenced by Americana, country, and rock.
- Cory Morrow – Beloved for his heartfelt and transparent songwriting, with songs from his latest record “Whiskey & Pride.”
Saturday, July 19
- Jon Randall – Grammy, CMA, and ACM award-winning songwriter and guitarist (“Whiskey Lullaby,” “Tin Man”).
- Calder Allen – Emerging 22-year-old artist carrying on the legacy of his grandfather, singer-songwriter Terry Allen.
The festival will also host a fundraiser for the Sheridan Opera House to close out the weekend on Sunday.
