WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK
…This is it! The last Peak Sheet before off-season. Be sure to get outside this week to enjoy those fall colors – they’re still hanging on! We hope everyone has a happy, safe, and relaxing off-season and we’ll see you on November 20 for the next Peak Sheet.
While shoulder season is almost here, there are still plenty of events to enjoy before the gondola shuts down on October 20 at midnight. Tomorrow is the last historic walking tour of the season, but you can get your fix at the Lamplight Cemetery Tours, which will be held on Fridays this month. This Friday is also the last Telluride Farmers’ Market of the season, so be sure to stock up on all your favorite local goodies!
Other events worth checking out include free wine tastings at the Mountain Village Wine Merchant on Wednesdays, the Autumn Festival at Schmid Ranch this Saturday, a Flatliner Face/Off at The National on Sunday, and Dance Classes at the Palm every Tuesday.
The Alibi has a full slate of music coming up this month, including MoomBeem with Atari Safari on Saturday, Blu Egyptian on Tuesday, Blessing Chimanga next Thursday, Big Fun next Friday, and The Hero & the Madman next Saturday. They’ll also be open for a good part of the off-season, so be sure to check out all of their upcoming events.
We’re ushering in spooky season with the Telluride Horror Show this weekend! Passes are still available and individual movie tickets can also be purchased at the door. There are also several free community events and showings – Check out the full schedule here.
The scary movies continue next weekend with a showing of “Ghostbusters” on Friday and “Hotel Translyvania” on Saturday at the Telluride Conference Center. We will also be doing a special Halloween edition of the Peak Sheet, so if you have any spooky season events, be sure to submit them here. You can check out all of the Halloween events here.
Additionally, we have compiled our off-season dining list! While we have a good start to the list, we are still working on getting details from EVERY restaurant. If you haven’t reached out to us with your schedule, please do so to be included! Check out our current list here.

From colorful fall landscapes to festive events, Telluride has plenty to offer this October. As we transition into the off-season, make the most of the final days before the town quiets down. If you’re looking to make Telluride your home, Anne-Britt Ostlund and Mountain Rose Realty are here to guide you through the Telluride real estate market. Whether you’re exploring homes for sale in Telluride, CO, or simply soaking in the autumn magic, this week promises unforgettable moments. See you back here for the next Peak Sheet on November 20th!
