WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

We’ve been quite spoiled this fall – the colors this year have been exceptional around town. This will be our last regular Peak Sheet until November 16, but stay tuned for a special Halloween-themed Peak Sheet at the end of the month.

Things start to get spooky around town this weekend with the Horror Show taking over Telluride! Experience an eclectic mix of horror, suspense, thriller, dark fantasy, sci-fi and dark comedy in Telluride’s theaters. In addition to movies, there are also book signings, spooky campfire tales, trivia, and so much more.

If you aren’t attending the Horror Show but still want to get in the mood for Halloween, join the Telluride Historical Museum for their first Lamplight Cemetery Tour at the Lone Tree Cemetery on Friday. Learn about the people who lived and worked here while exploring by lamplight – eerie!

Many events are winding down this weekend after running all summer long. Enjoy the last Farmers’ Market of the season Friday on Oak Street and live music at Altezza for the last weekend.

Don’t forget to check out the Not-So-Young-People’s Theater’s production of “Meet Me in St. Louis” next Thursday through Sunday at the Sheridan Opera House. Also, don’t forget that the winter slate of shows for the Opera House has been released and tickets are available now!

To close out the season, join Telluride Arts at The Alibi for an End of Season Get Down with Desert Child and Apres Nova on Friday night.
