Test Your Limits at Altitude

Telluride Mountain Run

The Telluride Mountain Run (TMR) isn’t just a race—it’s an adventure across some of the most rugged and breathtaking terrain in Colorado. Hosted high above the historic mining town of Telluride, this event challenges runners to push their limits in the heart of the San Juan Mountains. For those who love the combination of endurance, altitude, and alpine beauty, the TMR delivers an unforgettable experience.

🏃‍♂️ The Challenge: Three Routes, One Goal

Runners can choose from three technical and demanding routes:

  1. 13-Mile Course → Sign Up Here
  2. 24-Mile Course → Sign Up Here
  3. 40-Mile Course → Sign Up Here

No matter the distance, participants face steep elevation gains, rocky singletrack, and exposed ridgelines that climb above 13,000 feet. Each step is a test of grit, determination, and heart.

🌄 The Experience of the San Juans

What sets the Telluride Mountain Run apart isn’t just the challenge—it’s the setting. Imagine pushing through the burn of high-altitude air, surrounded by the striking colors of the San Juan peaks. The trails wind through old mining roads, alpine tundra, and rugged summits. And the finish line? Right back where you started, in the charming heart of Telluride, Colorado.
