It literally could not be any more beautiful outside – The wildflowers are starting to pop, there are baby elk on the valley floor, and the rivers are clear and fishing well. We hope you are all getting out and enjoying the weather!
The tunes continue this week with a jam-packed lineup of musicians! The
Sunset Music Series will feature the Way Down Wanderers tonight and Easy Jim next Wednesday, Esme Patterson at
Music on the Green on Friday, and a free
Chamber Music Happy Hour with Donavan Dailey on Tuesday.
The Alibi also has a stacked weekend with
Extra! Extra! tomorrow,
Easy Honey with back-to-back performances on Friday and Saturday, and
Andrew Duhon on Sunday.
If you’re into fine dining and wine, this is a great week to be here!
Telluride Table kicks off tomorrow and runs through Sunday with a variety of food and wine events around town. In addition, be sure to check out
Science of Cocktails this Saturday at
Telluride Arts HQ; It’s a great fundraiser to support the Pinhead Institute. You can also check out the
free wine tastings on Wednesday evenings at the
Mountain Village Wine Merchant or the
Food & Wine Pairing Classes on Thursday with Eliza Gavin of
221 South Oak.
Additional notable events include
Trout-a-palooza on Tuesday at the
Sheridan Opera House (fundraiser for conserving our area rivers), a
Town Talk about methane on Tuesday at the Telluride Conference Center,
Movies Under the Stars with “A Million Miles Away” on Saturday, and
Mind Blown on Friday and Saturday at
The Peaks. Plus, don’t forget about the weekly farmers’ markets in
Mountain Village (Wednesdays) and
Telluride (Fridays).
P.S. If you see the
Hardrock Hundred runners in town this weekend, be sure to cheer them on! Their 102.5-mile journey around the San Juans is no easy feat.
