WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

You know it’s summertime when the farmers’ markets return, Bridal Veil is flowing, and we get to listen to music outdoors again!

Some community staples return this week, including the Telluride Farmers’ Market on Friday and Market on the Plaza next Wednesday. The Music on the Green summer concert series also kicks off on Friday with a performance by Dead Horses.

The Historical Museum is open for the season, and they’re hosting their opening reception tomorrow for their summer exhibit. Be sure to catch their historic walking tours every Tuesday and Thursday, too!

There are also some amazing musical acts taking the stage this week, starting with Jackson Emmer at the Summer Singer-Songwriter Series tonight at Telluride Arts HQ, Nectar Valley tomorrow at The Alibi, and The Wailers at the Sheridan Opera House and Augustus at The Alibi on Friday. The SHOW Bar is also hosting free outdoor performances this summer, including Saturday with Mitch Frank and Andrew Portwood.

Other notable events include the Telluride Art Walk tomorrow night, Pride Brunch at The View at the Mountain Lodge on Sunday, the Spring Bike Rodeo on Saturday, and a Community Wildfire Education Ice Cream Social and Movie Screening on Sunday.

There’s still time to grab a great deal on grub – Every Tuesday and Thursday at Rustico, you can get a main course from the a la carte menu with an appetizer, soup or salad for just $39/person. For reservations, call 970.728.4046.
